Financial Intelligence
Accounting is the language of business. Most entrepreneurs were never taught to speak it.
The problem
Most small business owners are excellent at what they do. They are not accountants. So they hire someone to handle the books, assume it is being done correctly, and make decisions based on numbers they do not fully understand — about a business they built from nothing.
That is an expensive way to operate.
The difference between a business that survives and a business that scales is almost always financial clarity. Knowing what your numbers actually mean. Having systems that produce accurate information automatically. Understanding what to measure, what to ignore, and what to fix before it becomes a crisis.
What this is
TEKEASE® Financial Intelligence is not bookkeeping. It is not payroll processing. It is not a monthly reconciliation service.
It is financial leadership for the entrepreneur who is serious about building something real.
A financially fluent business partner who also understands technology. Someone who can read your P&L, clean up your accounting systems, integrate your platforms, build your dashboard, and tell you exactly what your numbers are saying — in plain language — before problems become emergencies.
What we do
The foundation
Accounting system setup, cleanup, and optimization—built correctly from the start, or fixed from wherever it is now.
Chart of accounts design—the architecture that determines whether your reporting ever makes sense.
Financial system integration—we work across all major accounting platforms, payment systems, and point-of-sale technologies. QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Stripe, Square, and beyond. If your business runs on it, we speak it.
The ongoing work
Monthly financial review—P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow in plain language.
Cash flow management—most businesses do not fail from lack of profit. They fail from lack of cash. We watch it closely.
Budgeting and forecasting—not just what happened, but what is going to happen.
KPI dashboard development—the three or four numbers you actually need to look at every week. Not a 40-page report. A clear picture.
The strategic layer
Technology ROI analysis—before you spend money on a new system, know what it will actually return.
Accounting staff evaluation and management—we speak the language. We help you find, evaluate, and manage the people handling your money.
Investment analysis—data-driven decisions on the opportunities in front of you.
Tax services
During tax season, select individual and small business tax preparation and e-filing services are available to qualified clients. Individual returns and Schedule C preparation. A complimentary consultation is required.
We also assist with the preparation and filing of delinquent returns — without judgment, and with complete discretion.
Who this is for
The entrepreneur who built something real and is ready to run it like a real business.
The business owner who knows their numbers are a mess and has been putting off fixing it.
The operator who makes decisions by instinct because they do not have reliable data — and knows that has to change.
The founder who has an accountant but not someone who translates what the accountant is saying into decisions they can act on.
Who this is not for
We do not prepare sales tax returns, process payroll, or provide bookkeeping services.
What we do is design the system so those functions run correctly — whoever handles them.
Through a carefully selected network of professional partners, we help you identify, implement, and integrate the right platforms for your business. Accounting systems, payroll providers, sales tax compliance tools, e-commerce, Shopify, web-based operations — connected, automated, and built to scale.
The right infrastructure makes the routine work invisible. We build the infrastructure.
If bookkeeping or payroll services are what you need, we will point you toward the right person. That is also part of the service.
A note on credentials
The principal is not a CPA. He is an IRS-credentialed tax professional, a certified Intuit Accounting Professional, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois.
He has operated as the CFO of his own enterprise. He has analyzed technology investments and delivered ROI reporting at the enterprise level. He has built financial systems from scratch and rebuilt ones that were never built correctly.
He speaks the language.
He will teach you to speak it too.
