Private Integration

Ledger Bridge

An internal accounting integration operated by TEKEASE® on behalf of engaged clients. Ledger Bridge is not a consumer product and is not offered for public sign-up.

Access is by arrangement only

There is nothing to sign up for on this page. Ledger Bridge is authorized directly by a client during an active engagement, with that client’s written consent, and only for the duration of the work. If you reached this page without a prior arrangement with TEKEASE, no action is required of you.

What Ledger Bridge Does

TEKEASE performs accounting system conversions, migrations, and post-conversion cleanup for business clients. Work of that kind routinely involves thousands of individual ledger records. Ledger Bridge allows TEKEASE to apply those corrections precisely and consistently rather than by hand, which reduces both the time required and the risk of transcription error in a client’s books.

Typical use includes:

  • Reading a client ledger to reconcile it against the records of the system it was converted from.
  • Applying existing credits and payments to the correct open invoices following a conversion.
  • Correcting accounts receivable and accounts payable detail that did not carry over cleanly from legacy accounting software.
  • Producing reconciliation and exception reports for the client and the client’s CPA.

What Data Is Accessed

Ledger Bridge requests a single permission scope, covering accounting data only. Within an authorized company file it may read and write customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, credit memos, journal entries, accounts, and related accounting records.

It does not request and cannot access payroll data, employee compensation, payment processing or merchant services, or stored card and bank credentials.

What It Does Not Do

  • It does not move money. Ledger Bridge initiates no transfers, no payments, and no disbursements of any kind.
  • It does not share client accounting data with any third party, and no client data is sold, rented, or used for advertising.
  • It does not operate on its own schedule. Every action is initiated by TEKEASE in the course of agreed work.
  • It is not published to any public application marketplace and is not available for self-service installation.

Security and Retention

Authorization uses OAuth 2.0. TEKEASE never receives, requests, or stores a client’s accounting software password. Access tokens are held encrypted, are limited to the authorized company file, and expire on the schedule set by the accounting platform.

Working copies of client data are retained only as long as the engagement and the client’s own record-retention requirements make necessary, then destroyed. Handling of client information is governed by the TEKEASE Privacy Policy and the TEKEASE Terms and Conditions, together with the service agreement for the engagement.

Revoking Access

A client may revoke Ledger Bridge at any time, without notice to TEKEASE and without affecting any other part of the engagement. Revocation is immediate and permanent until the client authorizes the connection again.

Access can be removed from inside the accounting platform, under connected apps, or by writing to the address below. See Disconnecting Ledger Bridge for the full procedure.
